Joaquin: I won´t celebrate if I score against Valencia

Joaquin said he will not celebrate if he scores against former club Valencia when Real Betis travel to the Mestalla on Saturday.

The former Spain international back at boyhood club Betis enjoyed five successful seasons as a Valencia player, having left Seville in 2006.

Joaquin, who swapped Fiorentina for Betis during the transfer window, will return to the Mestalla for the first time since April 2013. On that occasion he could not prevent Malaga from crashing to a 5-1 defeat.

The 34-year-old is relishing the opportunity to play in front of his former fans, so much so that he has vowed to respect the Valencia faithful.

Hazard pens new Chelsea deal

Eden Hazard has signed a new five-and-a-half year mega deal with Chelsea, according to the Mail Online.

The Belgium international has set the Premier League alight with his performances over the past eighteen months, and has been rewarded by the club who he moved to from Lille in 2012.

He was named the 2013/14 PFA Young Player of the Year, and has continued his fine form into the season with thirteen goals in all competitions.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, the 24 year old has racked up almost a hundred and fifty appearances, while he was part of the squad the won the Europa League in 2013.

Goals from Charlie Adam and Steven N Zonzi earned Stoke City a 2-0 win over 10-man Sunderland at the Britannia Stadium.

Ernesto Valverde hopes Jasper Cillessen remains at Barcelona after the Netherlands goalkeeper suggested his future is unclear.

Barca paid an initial €13million to sign Cillessen from Ajax in 2016 and he made just four appearances in LaLiga and the Champions League over his first two seasons, with his main usage being in the Copa del Rey.
